As you can see, 7-month-old Max has graduated to the kitchen sink. He loves to try to drink from the faucet when its going at full blast.

Max's Latest Craze

Max's favorite way to spend his spare time these days is to crawl from one piece of furniture to the next and use it to help him stand up. And he's always quite proud of himself.

Trick-or-Treating!

Pirate Max went trick-or-treating with his cousins Teenage-Mutant-Ninja Jake and Princess Hannah. Max's new favorite thing is playing with his bucket full of treats (we're glad he hasn't figured out how to get the wrappers off yet).

FOOD!!!

Max's list of foods he has tried is getting longer everyday and now includes such delicacies as: saltines, biscuits, blueberry muffin top cereal, cantaloupe, squash, jello, and chocolate donuts.

He will no longer let us eat in peace and insists on being part of the action. And we almost forgot to add that his first tooth is on its way out. As soon as we can get a good picture of it we'll post it for all the world to see.

Max's New Toys

Max begged and begged for two things: a piano and a car. We couldn't say no to that face so we got him both. Seriously, they're not for us.

Six-months of Max!

As a 6 month-old, Max still loves to be outside for walks but has new favorite things too. He's starting to enjoy the world of solid food and mobility. The trick he's working on this week is pulling himself to standing. Ephraim thinks he smells worse than ever (unfortunately, the worst is yet to come).

Our First Turkey!

Since we needed the freezer space, a few weeks ago we decided to cook the turkey we've had in there for quite a while. It was a hit and we're thinking of making 'Thanksgiving in August' an annual tradition.

4 Months Old and Lovin' It

Max had his 4 month birthday and check-up today. That's right. 4 whole months. He is now a whopping 15 pounds 15 ounces and a towering 2 feet 2 inches. Don't forget his massive Garneresque head circumference of 43.5cm (that's 17 inches).

Just don't mention anything about shots around Max or he might throw up on you. He's not too fond of those darn things.

Pioneer Day Hike

In honor of Pioneer Day we took Max on his first ever hike up Provo Canyon. The bad news is the cabin fort where we got engaged is destroyed. The good news is Max loves to hike!

Play Ball!!!

Last weekend Max went to his first baseball game. It was the Salt Lake Bees against the Tuscon Sidewinders. Obviously he enjoyed it immensly. He even made it through 8 innings before it was just too much for him.
